Responsibilities

- Conceputalize, film and edit high-quality videos for client review in a quick and efficient manner. 

- Work closely with production and account staff to maintain rigorous file management and project organization. 

- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. 

- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

Requirements

  • Current enrollment/completed an undergraduate course for film, broadcasting, communications or similar field. 

  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve.

  • Proficiency and familarity with software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya or Nuke. 

  • Experience with video editing/production required. 

  • Self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines

  • Should be a good team player with a creative mindset 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Editor

A Video Editor is tasked with taking the raw footage shot by the film crew and director and turning it into the final product. This means following an outline, script, storyboard and shot list and assembling the footage into one cohesive work of art. At VMLK, we love creating cinema magic and one of the biggest ways to do this is through the editing process.
